The Road Ahead

The purpose of the Road Ahead programme is to help students unravel the intricate threads that constitute their being. It helps them make judicious choices on courses of study that are aligned to their interest and aptitude, while remaining true to themselves. The outcome of these sessions provides pointers that are customized for each student. It gives a frame of reference with necessary competencies /courses that need to be undertaken, skills that need to be developed to build on their portfolio. This enables them to meet the criteria and timelines for University applications across the globe.

 

The Road Ahead process is divided into three parts.

 

Part 1: Know Yourself:

These sessions aim to identify the interests, aptitude, strengths, and areas for development

 

Part 2: Build Yourself:

The goal is to build on strengths and reinforce areas that need development. This entails specific skill building depending on the outcome of Part 1.

 

Part 3: Apply yourself

This is a logical progression from Know Thyself, Build Yourself and is directed towards University applications. The best fit Universities are targeted, within India and overseas as well.

 

There is the possibility of Part 4 which is tracking and monitoring and providing ongoing support.

 

Part 1: Know Yourself

Part 2: Build Yourself

These sessions are dependent on the outcome of Know Thyself. It entails skill building like communication and writing skills that are long term. This may perhaps necessitate guided reading, essay writing with feedback and multiple drafts.

 

The time commitment and methodology depends on the skills that need to be built.

Part 3: Apply yourself

This is the last mile and involves the actual application process, the end goal are best fit Universities.
